$55.5 M Capital Campaign | Old Brewery Mission Foundation

THE CHALLENGE

With their 125th anniversary on the horizon, Quebec’s largest homeless shelter had a bold vision: eliminating chronic homelessness in Montreal. OBM asked us to create a campaign to help them reach a 5-year / $55.5 M goal. How bold a statement was Old Brewery Mission prepared to make?

 

APPROACH

Discovery revealed that this issue could be solved if sufficiently resourced. OBM’s remarkable track record of moving clients with complex health issues into supportive housing was proof that these individuals were not beyond a life of dignity and inclusion. The ‘See the End of Homelessness’ campaign would allow us to “see” people who are often “invisible” – and to see a better future.

 

RESULTS

Remarkable photo essays and uplifting testimonials allowed the campaign to shine a light directly on the impact Old Brewery Mission was making in the lives of Montreal’s most vulnerable . Major donors and individuals alike were moved to give – the campaign, now in it’s final year, is on track to achieving it’s goal.
