With the new OBOA brand well established, in 2019 OBOA’s annual conference was the opportunity to take things to the next level.

Once again, G4Change provided creative direction, copywriting and design for the conference, from the “Stronger Together” theme celebrating the dual-Chapter hosting model, video production and more.   A major development his year was the launch of a smartphone-based OBOA event app. G4Change helped the Association vet and select the software, designed the interface, planned and designed content and interactivity to enhance the delegate experience. It was a months-long learning curve for all involved, but at the conference attendee engagement with the app was outstanding and the project will carry forward to future conferences. For “Student Day” at the conference, we recommended that the “career event” we created in Sudbury experience be repurposed. G4Change presented the career info PPT and panel discussion, and the event host committee added additional student-focused activities to round out an unforgettable day. Finally, to assure Association members they are central to OBOA’s strategy, we suggested, then created, a special “Thank You to OBOA Chapters” PPT for the Board to present at their AGM.
