An animated book trailer of Being Here, Caring for Dad, 101, a graphic memoir

Caring for my 100 year old father

Founder of G4Change Sherri Gallowitz (SheGal) is also an author and illustrator who launched her debut graphic novel “ BEING HERE- Caring for Dad, 101” at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival in 2025. Her memoir tells the story of how a sudden crisis drove Sherri to move her 100-year-old father into her family home to live out the final 14 months of his long life. This animated book trailer brings the illustrations to life with poignant urgency.
